Want to give your AdminPraise2 based theme some style? Here are some basic information on how to review and update the logo/images onto your Admin Panel!

 

Important Information:

There are 2 tools that are a must need to assist you on how to locate the source on where to replace the default icons/images are located. They are designed for your FireFox Browser only. For any other browsers, you will need to review their support or feature site to see if they have any similar tools applied to them.

Here are the 2 items listed and feel free to check them out to install it as well:

FireBug: http://getfirebug.com/

Web Developer Toolbar: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/60

These next steps are applied for the (FireFox Browser Version) and assumed that you had already installed/setup your AdminPraise2 as your default theme:

Step 1:

Log into your Admin Panel and go to the home page onto your site.

Step 2:

To the bottom right hand side of your web browser, click on the FireBug Icon.

Step 3:

You will see a window panel that will show up and you will need to click on the arrow to select an element on the page to inspect.

Step 4:

After clicking on the arrow, move your mouse icon over the AP2 Icon box as listed below:

Step 5:

Observe the FireBug Console Window and you can see on the right hand side the background image location listed here:

Once you had located the image location, you can create your own icon using your image editor and override the original one in its place.

Note: At the same time when you create your icon image, ensure that the height, margin, and width matches correctly or the image will misalign/disorient.

Step 6:

Another way to locate the image as well as estimate on its size for your own logo, click on the "Images" icon section on your Web Development Toolbar as shown:

Step 7:

Once you click on the "Images" icon button, a dropdown menu will appear and you will need to click on "View Image Information."

Step 8:

From here, you can be able to view all icon pictures onto your site as well its icon locaton/size. All you will need to do is to create your own icon based on those specifications and over write them.
