We've included everything you need to get a jumpstart on your latest great idea. Quickly enter your title, alias (optionally), select your section/category, decided whether to publish or feature on frontpage, and enter your content into a simple text area. Avoiding the JavaScript text editor will allow you to also enter an article via the iPhone, iPad or any device which conflicts w/the text editors, and saves you the time of disabling it. Lastly, you have three options:
- Save - will save & close the article and redirect you to the Article Manager
- Save & Edit - will save the article and redirect you to the full article editor to continue working on it
- Reset - resets the form of course ;)
Why Call it "Quick Item Lite"?
We're also working on a pro version that will allow you to quickly add an item to K2, FLEXIcontent and possibly more third party components! Entries are referred to as items in these components since they can be more than articles, which is why we called this module Quick Item Lite instead of Quick Article, etc.
